The bootmenus have been edited to enable switching to another partition's bootmenu. I prefer to install Ranish Partition Manager, which gives an initial boot menu for choosing boot partition. The choice will be default for the next boot. | |

The Grub2 type bootmenu is best generated after booting on every new host (Command: "update-grub"). To the left is the bootmenu generated on my Desktop as host,
which has two hard disk drives, each with 4 bootable primary partitions.
At the very bottom it has found the first partition of the USB-stick (sdc1), but not the other partitions (sdc3 and sdc4) - itself being on sdc2 of course (which is the default at the top). |
